Ms. Christine Murchison Cuttino named 2012 Sénica Mom of the Year

Ms. Cuttino (pictured above with her 5 children) was nominated by her daughter Cynthia who wrote a compelling essay on why her mom should be the 2012 Sénica Mom of the Year, below is a brief excerpt:

“This woman is phenomenal! She quietly worked all her life to raise 5 children … she put one through college and went back to school to update her skills after the factory where she worked making bullet-proof vests closed. She has 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. We love flocking to her house for family meals and storytelling.”

She encourages her family to [take care of their health]. She is now recognized as an elder at the annual family reunion and we serve her like she’s royalty. Our Queen Christine stays active and healthy and vibrant in her community. We are proud to be her children and thank God for her each and every day.

Ms. Cuttino will receive a Sénica gift basket worth $50 and Cynthia will receive a $15 gift certificate. Congratulations!

Happy Mother’s Day to all our Mom’s!

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of being a guest on Out to Lunch a radio/podcast series by Its New Orleans. We met up at Commander’s Palace. The food was pretty good and the conversation was easy as Peter Ricchiuti asked relevant questions about the natural product industry, our stories and our fears. (I’m afraid of

I hope your day is going well. Do you have a relaxation routine for your skin? And no, I don’t mean the quick shower in the morning when you’re running late. If your answer is no, might I suggest taking a queue from McKenzie- a connoisseur of all things lavender in the Sénica skincare line. Click here to watch McKenzie’s review.

Your skin is the largest organ on your body and deserves tender loving care. A simple relaxation routine can be adding an exfoliating session to your shower once a week. I recommend using a brown sugar scrub to remove dead skin and seal in moisture. Or, it can get fancy with a shower and exfoliation session followed by a long soak of detoxifying Epsom and sea salts found in our bath salt collection. If you’re not a fan of soaking in the tub, try soaking your feet while you watch your favorite show or catch up on some reading.

This is the perfect month to start your relaxation routine. Here’s why, our entire line of Lanbéli products are on special. With coupon code “LSQ2″ you’ll receive 20% OFF any order of $40+. So you can get the essentials for your new routine. Plus, receive a $10 E-Gift Card when you order $75+ of Lanbéli products. A signature Sénica scent, Lanbéli is created using an herbaceous Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil. Creole for “calm or rest,” Lanbéli lives up to its name and provides an all-over relaxing bath and body experience. Experience the relaxing effects of this must have collection, available in a shea butter moisturizer, bath salt, brown sugar scrub, soap bar and eau de parfum.
